What Is A Proxy?

A proxy is a server that sits between a client application, such as a Web browser, and a real server. It intercepts all requests to the real server to see if it can fulfill the requests itself. If not, it forwards the request to the real server.

In english that means a proxy is a website which sits between you and the website you are trying to access, any requests you make go through the proxy website and then to the website you wish to access. This means you can access websites which may be blocked (websites such as myspace, hotmail, gmail etc) quickly, easily and anonymously. I believe you should be able to access any (legal) website anywhere in the world, its for this reason I set up the proxy website.
